There are thousands of employers and millions of undocumented workers. Which group is easier to legislate?
We don’t have an “illegal immigration” problem in this country. What we have is an “illegal employer” problem.
STOP illegal hiring and you will STOP illegal immigration.
FOLLOW-UP:
Once you start substantially penalizing illegal employment, you will pretty much take care of the illegal immigration problems.
You can solve this problem and help get Americans back to work.
There is no need to build a 5000 mile fence that will be breached every day.
This isn’t even a partisan issue, it is a national security issue.
UNCOVERS:
The problem is with our lax policies about enforcing legal employment, not the people who come here to do the work that we are unwilling to have documented workers do.
